What Does March Offer for Fun in The Desert?

March is the month of big events & entertainment in the Palm Springs Area. If you are in the Desert , you will have plenty to do throughout our desert resort cities.

In Indian Wells on March 4 , 2019 the  BNP Paribas Open,  the greatly anticipated tennis tournament starts  and will run through March 17 ,   at the beautiful Indian Wells Tennis Gardens.

 In 2018 450,000 tennis fans from around the world attended the tennis tournament,  and the same crowds if not in bigger numbers will fly & drive  to the Palm Springs Area , to enjoy the event and the sunshine.

Another well anticipated March event in the Palm Springs Area , or the Coachella Valley
 is The La Quinta Arts Fetsival  which will open on March 7 and run through March 10 , 2019 at the La Quinta Civic Center Grounds .
Its an open air festival , where you can marvel at the art and enjoy the cuisine of the  local restauranteurs , while enjoying a glass of wine or a beer.

The La Quinta Arts Festival was ranked 5 out of 7 times as the # 1 Arts Festival in the Country  .  It is organized yearly  by the La Quinta Arts Foundation , a foundation  that has been promoting art and Artist , and providing scholarships from the proceeds of the festival .
